There will be a food drive at Whole Foods in Swampscott (331 Paradise Road), Saturday, February 27th from 10 AM till 4 PM.  Please come out and buy food for donation.  All proceeds will benefit local food pantries.

We would like to thank everyone who came out and made our food drive at Compare Supermarket a success.  Thanks to all our donors and Compare's generous owner Alberto Calvo, we collected 230 canned goods and 26 pounds of pasta (amongst other items) for local food pantries.  We would also like to thank the volunteers who allowed this event to run smoothly, you are truly appreciated.

Food pantries in Lynn need food and other items this winter. Compare Supermarket and SCI Lynn are hosting a food drive to help supplement available food.  It will be taking place Saturday, February 13th from 10AM through 6PM at Compare Supermarket (2 Adams St).  We will be asking shoppers to purchase items for donation, which will be matched by Compare.  Please come out and help us make this event a success.  We need volunteers and shoppers!  Please contact Peter Domanico at 919.491.2903 or pdomanico@scilynn.org if you are interested in helping out.
