Acorn Gallery Portfolio Classes and Scholarships
The Acorn Gallery in Marblehead, located at 41 State Street, offers art classes for those trying to compose a portfolio. Interested parties between the ages 5 and up are welcome to attend the portfolio development classes Monday-Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Following the completion of the your portfolio,you may be eligable for a full or partial scholarship to institutions geared toward visual art. Upward Bound Student and Staff Openings
The Upward Bound Program at North Shore Community College is now accepting applications for new students. We serve first generation college-bound and modest income students. Current 8th and 9th graders attending Lynn schools are welcome to apply. For more eligibility information, please call the office at 781.477.2161.
Upward Bound also has part-time job openings for summer staff. Interested candidates must be 21 years of age or older, and have at least one year of college education.
