Lynn United for Change: No More Evictions in Lynn

Foreclosed?  Underwater?  Rent in a foreclosed building?  You still might be able to stay in your home, even after foreclosure.  Do not move, and do not accept "cash for keys" until you have learned about your rights and considered all of your options.  You probably have the right to stay in your apartment for months or longer.  You may be able to get your house back from the bank.  Come out and meet others in your situation and learn more.  There will be a meeting Wednesday, February 10th, 6:30 PM at Neighbor to Neighbor, 112 Exchange St, Lynn (corner of Broad St and Exchange St).  Support, advice, solidarity for Lynn residents facing foreclosure or eviction.

Lynn United for Change is a volunteer organization made up of Lynn residents dedicated to fighting back against evictions and foreclosures.  They are not a business, and do not charge for the information, support and solidarity they provide.

Keep Us Connecting!

Every week, SCI's e-newsletters and community websites connect you and thousands of area residents with timely information about community events, volunteer opportunities and much more.  This info makes a real difference--this week we're connecting people to a flu clinic in Dorchester; throughout the fall we've mobilized hundreds of food, clothing and toy donations as people respond to the needs they learn about through SCI.

The technology that powers these connections is very cost-effective, but it is not free nor is typically funded through grants.  SCI pays a total of $624 for the email service and web hosting.  Our goal is to raise from supporters like you, the $624 needed to cover the email service & web hosting.  Your donation by Dec. 31 will help keep this vital service going for the next year.

A donation of $12 covers one week of connecting local residents to what they need.  For $52, you can connect thousands of residents to an entire month of timely civic information—mobilizing hundreds of volunteers, generating essential in-kind donations of food & clothing, and much more.  Click here to donate now!
