Lynn World Aids Day Committee would like to invite you to join them for an evening of music and remembrance in honor of World AIDS Day. The event will take place on Monday, December 1st. The walk begins at Lynn City Hall at 5:30 PM, followed by special performances and refreshments. Attached below is the flier for more information on the event.

Public Health Clinics at Lynn City Hall

Did you know that there is a Clinic at Lynn City Hall? Lynn residents are welcome to access free services by presenting proof of residency and proof of citizenship. On Monday-Wednesday, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, nurses provide testing for Tuburculosis, Hepatitis, and Salmonella. Also, on Tuesday between 5 PM to 7 PM and Wednesday between 9 AM to 11 AM, Flu shot are disseminated for free for school aged children up to young adults in college. In addition, for your benefit, a needle kiosk is available as well. Walk in patients can dispose of their used needles and receive new ones in exchange. Flu Clinics in Lynn

Flu Clinic Finder is partnering with Lynn's local CVS, Stop & Shop, and Price Right to offer annual Flu Shots to Lynn residents. The series will start this Saturday, October 4th from 10 AM to 2 PM, at CVS located at 200 South Common Street, Lynn, Massachusetts. The second series of Flu Shots will be available on Wednesday, October 8th at CVS located at 509 Eastern Avenue, Lynn, MA 01902. Some locations may require a copay. Ford School Garden Ceremony

Congratulations goes out to the Highlands Coalition and the Ford Community School, which officially dedicated the new International Children’s Garden at Ford School on Monday. Students will have the opportunity to grow plants in the garden to learn about plants and healthy eating, and the garden will also serve as a great resource for the surrounding neighborhoods. SCI Lynn was pleased to support the effort as part of the Neighborhood Leadership Awards program. Many Lynn notables were on hand for the event including Mayor Chip Clancy, Superintendent of Schools Nick Kostan and School Committee member Maria Carrasco, joining project organizer David Gass and Principal Claire Crane.
