Free babysitting course

Girls Inc. of Lynn will run a free babysitting course for middle school girls this Friday, Nov. 9 from 5:30 -- 8:30pm and Saturday from 9am -- noon. Girls will learn how to care for infants through school-aged children, the best ways to encourage positive behavion, safety skills to prevent emergencies, and how to perform first aid for infants and children. The course is split into two three hour sessions. A certificate will be given to those who successfully complete the course.
