Flu & Pneumonia shot available.

Flu and pneumonia shots will be available at the North shore Mall, courtesy of Maxim Health Systems, every Saturday from until- Nov. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $30 for the flu vaccine and $40 for the pneumonia vaccine. Medicare recipients who are not members of a Medicare HMO can receive both shots at no cost by presenting a valid Medicare card. Others may pay for their shots with a check or cash. The clinic will be staffed by local, licensed nurses. All participants must be at least 9 years of age and sign a consent form. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years old. Shots will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
