Adult & Teen Volunteers Needed for Teen Anti-Drinking Campaign!

As an SCI AmeriCorps member this year, I will advise Communities that Care's (CTC)Part of the Solution youth council, as well as assist with other prevention and engagment programs for teens in the community. One of my responsibilities will be to carry out MADD Youth In Action (YIA) underage drinking prevention activities such as a Sticker Shock Campaign this month.

I am looking for some volunteers to work with teens over one or both days of the campaign, Monday, October 22 and Tuesday, October 23 from 3:30 to around 5pm each day. Adult volunteers will help teens plaster informative stickers and posters on walls and bottles at participating liqour stores. Teens can not touch the alcohol containers, so we need adult volunteers!!

If you are interested in helping out in similar events, but can't make it in October, please also let me know so I can be sure to keep you abreast of future alcohol compliance and anti-underage drinking events.
