Art Explorers at Lynn Arts

LynnArts offers affordable, week-long art exploration programs for children ages 6-12. During February Vacation they are offering "Shape Shifting with Peabody Essex Museum (PEM)." Students will start their week at the PEM where they’ll enjoy artist’s demos, art projects and a tour of the Museum, then continue the theme at Lynn Arts. The program will begin on Tuesday, February, 21 and end on Friday, February 24 and go from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Registration due by Friday, February 10th. The cost is $155 and a limited number of scholarships are available.

Each week offers children the opportunity to explore a variety of visual and performing arts forms with activities ranging from puppet-making, print-making, painting, drawing, mask-masking, to improvisational games, dance, script-writing, costume and prop design and more! Each session culminates with a short performance and art exhibition. Our Art Explorer’s program is designed to encourage creative thinking and artistic exploration and to increase self-confidence in a fun, safe environment!
